All praise is due to Allah, and may His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. To proceed:

Due to the sighting of the Ramadan crescent in several Muslim countries, AMJA announces that Monday, March 11th, 2024, will be the first day of Ramadan.
The assembly, through its fatwa committee, issues this announcement to the Muslims of the United States. We pray to Allah, the Majestic, the Most High, to accept the righteous deeds of us all, and we beseech Him to alleviate the suffering of the nation of Muhammad at large, and especially to support our oppressed brothers and sisters in Gaza and other afflicted Muslim regions. We also pray for the fulfillment of His promise to them by granting them rescue and victory.
Allah is All-Knowing of people’s intentions, and He is the one who guides to the straight path.
