All praise is due to Allah, and may His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. To proceed:

Due to the sighting of the Ramadan crescent in several Muslim countries, AMJA announces that Saturday, March 1st , 2025, will be the first day of Ramadan.

And the Assembly, represented by its Resident Fatwa Committee, as it announces this declaration to the Muslims of the United States, beseeches Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, to lift affliction from the nation of Muhammad, to bless all the Muslims in their month, to guide them to righteousness in word and deed in it, to accept it from them with a good acceptance, and to return it upon the entire Ummah with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. And Allah is the One whom knows the intentions, and He is the One who guides to the straight path.
