Assalamu Alaikum Is it allowed to read from electronic media the quran while praying Fard? Intention is to help in memorization and to gain more hassanat. The electronic media is similar to a pda or a computer screen.

That would be allowable only in sunnah prayers, not fard. The only exception is if someone can’t recite al-Fatihah from memory, then he can use a paper or PDA, etc, and he may do that until he can memorize it.  Allah knows best.
